A principal bedroom with generous light but zero storage. We built a full-height dressing wall in smoked oak — nine metres of hinged storage with a lit dressing bay, bronze hanging rails and a window seat bridging the chimney breast.

Challenge
What made it hard
The wall ran 40mm out of true across its length with a deep skirting and picture rail to absorb. Every panel was site-templated and scribed; the dressing bay conceals the worst of the deviation behind chamfered oak reveals that read as a design detail.

What it is made of
Smoked European oak with bronze insets, brushed-brass hanging rails, warm 2700K concealed LEDs on door sensors and smoked-glass display bays.
Craftsmanship
How we built it
Wardrobe inventory first — hanging lengths, shoe counts, shelf needs — then elevations and a lighting plan. Built in six weeks, fitted in four days with full scribing and on-the-spot snagging.
Result
How it lives now
The clients report calmer mornings and a bedroom that finally feels finished. The dressing bay lighting, they say, makes getting ready feel like a boutique visit.
